2022 is the big year for Jamaica’s independence and 60th year celebration. Another date to look forward to in 2022 is January 20th as the Jamaican national football team will be playing an International friendly game against Peru. This in the wake of both teams prepare for the Qatar-2022 World Cup. 

The FPF made this announcement official by blasting “International friendly Peru vs Jamaica,” on Twitter.

The friendly against Peru will be played in Lima.

Jamaica, as of December 2021 currently ranked sixth of the final Concacaf octagonal, with seven points will need all the practice and exercise to turn things around and make a qualifying run.

Additionally, coach Theodore Whitmore was fired and Paul Hall has taken over for the time being.
