Kingston College elevated their notch to a 16 th Manning Cup title, after beating Jamaica College 5-4 in sudden deaths penalties in the final at stadium east field.

After 29 minutes, Kingston College took the lead through Christopher Pearson. He swept in a cross from Jaheim John on the right wing. Just before the half-time break Duncan McKenzie brought Jamaica College to level with his sweetly scored free kick.

Both teams played out a thrilling 1-1 draw in regulation. They were locked at 4-4 after five kicks. Jaheim Fraser’s kick was saved by Kingston College’s goalkeeper David Martin to win the title.

After being beaten by Dinthill Technical in the semi-finals, Jamaica College lost on penalties for the second time this season.

Before Pearson’s save, the teams scored their second spot kicks. However, Kingston College was back on level terms after Giovanni Mittoo skied over the crossbar.
